Our Instructors

Nichol M. Morey, M.A., BCBA
Nichol Morey has worked with children diagnosed with autism since 1998. She began her experience while attending Wright State University in pursue of her Bachelors Degree in psychology. After receiving her degree she became a full time ABA instructor. She gained experience as a 1:1 aide with more than a dozen chilren at all ends of the spectrum ranging in ages of 2 to 11 years old. She became the lead instructor for several of her families while working directly with different consultants. She attended IEP meetings, assisted with school observations, and was a 1:1 shadow. Nichol decided to gain additional knowledge and education in this field by pursuing her Masters Degree at Ohio State University in special education with emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. After earning her degree in 2004, she became a consultant for families with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. She recently mentored with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in pusue of becoming Board Cerfified herself. She gained her Board Certification in May 2009.

Hearts For ABA. Nichol Morey is the founder, owner, and operator of Hearts For ABA, the applied learning center. Other facilities might accomidate autistic children but here at Hearts we build the center around the child. By opening her own center tailored to special needs children, Nichol is able to make a deeper impact on the development and quality of life for each child.

Melissa Lemmon, M.S.E
Melissa Lemmon is a licensed intervention specialist for K-12. In addition to Hearts For ABA, she worked in area school districts helping children with special needs ranging from specific learning disabilities to the autism spectrum. Her son, Stefan, was diagnosed with PDD-NOS when he was 3, and today is a young man living successfully with autism and participating in job training programs in the area. Melissa is an active ABA instructor in addition to teaching and working closely with parents on developing and implementing IEPs.

Mary Robinett
Mary Robinett is a graduate of Wright State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in the autism spectrum at Ball State University.

Christina Chandler, M.Ed.
Christina has a Bachlors degree in psychology, and a Masters degree in multicultural special education from The College of Mount St. Joseph. She is currently pursueing coursework to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Christina has worked with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum and practicing ABA for several years. Christina is passionate about her work with children, and is very interested in Verbal Behavior. Christina loves to watch the children she works with grow and accomplish their goals.
